Room Types
- Lodge Rooms are situated in a separate building from the Castle.
These rooms have a modern feel with basic en-suite facilities. - Classic Rooms are similar in size to our Lodge rooms however are situated in the Castle.
- Deluxe Rooms are traditional castle rooms with period features, a small seating area and en suite facilities.
- Four Poster Suites have traditional four poster beds with additional period features.
These rooms have a small seating area, in room mini-bars and en-suite facilities. - Our Romantic Suite is the ultimate in luxury.
This room has a four poster bed, a larger seating area, an in room mini bar and en-suite facilities. Included with our Romantic Suite are a full bottle of house champagne and a bouquet of fresh flowers on your arrival day.

Smoking – In line with current legislation, the Castle and Lodge are completely non-smoking.

Single occupancy – Classic Double rooms will be charged at deluxe room rate, please add £50.00 in a deluxe room. Classic Single Rooms will be charged at Classic Double occupancy rates.

Long stays – Please ask us for special rates for stays longer than 4 nights.

Children – Children under the age of 2 are accommodated free of charge and you will only be charged for their food. Children aged between 2 and 12 are charged £45.00 per night and between 13 and 16 £60.00 per night. Both rates include bed and breakfast only. The above prices are based on sharing a room with 2 adults. We offer children’s menus but we do not allow children or babies under the age of 5 in the public areas in the evening.

Dogs - We welcome well behaved dogs but we do not permit them in the public areas of the hotel. There is a charge of £10.00 per dog, per night. There is no charge for guide dogs. Please note that we do not allow dogs in our Romantic Suite or Four Poster rooms.

Bookings – To make your reservation simply telephone, fax or email us. A deposit will be required in order to secure a reservation. We welcome Visa, Access and MasterCard but do not accept Diners or American Express.

Cancellation – Bookings cancelled within 7 days of arrival will be liable to a cancellation charge equivalent to the first night’s stay if we are unable to re-let the room. Different cancellation terms apply to our Romantic Suite, private functions, bookings for more than three rooms and over Christmas and New Year. Cancellation insurance is available. Please ask for details.
